On 10 May, the official launch of the long-acting FSH ELONVA took place in Dublin at an event organised by MSD Ireland. The discussion centred on the goals that ovarian stimulation must meet today — safety, efficacy and patient friendliness.

Integrating ELONVA in clinical practice

The introduction of ELONVA into clinical practice was preceded by a series of large clinical trials over the past decade. These provided the data underpinning the most effective and safe administration of this new long-acting FSH, which simplifies ovarian stimulation by replacing 7 daily FSH injections with a single ELONVA injection.
